Mr. Caleb Couret Mitchell, age 25, of Blairsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Valdosta, GA surrounded by family. Caleb was born on November 17, 1992 in Dalton, GA, the son of Andrew Phillip Herr and Sheba Renee Mitchell. He was a lifelong resident of Union County. Caleb loved panning for gold and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was a member of the Wingmen Motorcycle club. He was a loving father, son, grandchild, and brother. He will rock through the gates of Heaven on his famous purple Harley Davidson jamming out to Avenged Sevenfold. Caleb was of the Baptist faith, "Seize The Day" Surviving Caleb are his mother and stepfather, Sheba and Tony Maree of Warne, NC, fathers, Andrew Herr of Cleveland, Jeff Spiva of Blairsville, a daughter Anastasia, his siblings, Dallas Mitchell of Blairsville, Cheyenne' Herr of Clermont, Dakota Herr of Cleveland, Charles Herr of Blairsville, Blade Thomas of Hiawassee, Brooke Spiva of Hiawassee, Cassidy Maree of Warne, several aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 10, 2017 at 4:20 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Kyle Sosebee officiating. The family will meet with friends following the services. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Caleb's memory. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
