A memorial service celebrating the life of Wilburn Caldwell will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 1:00 pm at the Veterans Cemetery, Fort Polk, LA.
Mr. Wilburn Caldwell, age 82, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Rapides Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Wilburn was a truck driver, served in the US Army and he was also a superintendent for Goodwill for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Wilburn will be dearly missed by his family until we meet again.

Mr. Caldwell is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Virginia Caldwell; his son, Larry Caldwell; his brother, Jessie A. Caldwell; his sisters, Julia, Birdie Mae, Helen, Lucy, Margie and his grandson, Phillip Caldwell
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his daughters, Virginia Caldwell and Dora Caldwell and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
