Sallie died on April 29, 2011 at Irish Mountain, Raleigh County, WV, at age 96. Sallie Elizabeth Bragg Kincaid Meadows, age 96, of Irish Mountain, passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on Friday morning, April 29, 2011, at her beloved home.

Mrs. Meadows was the daughter of the late Ruben "Henderson" Bragg (1883-1959) and Carrie Cline Bragg-Bragg (1888-1976), and was born on June 24, 1914, at Abraham. She was a homemaker, and was of the holiness faith.

Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Bragg (Deceased), George Bragg (Deceased), David Bragg (Deceased), Merlin Bronsco Bragg (1919-2009), and Joseph Henderson Bragg (1929-1963); sisters, Donnie Bragg-Meadows (Deceased), Florrie Bragg-Gwinn (Deceased), and Helen Bragg-McMann (Deceased); husbands, Mack Kincaid Sr. (1906-1953) and Clyde Lee Meadows (1927-Deceased) whom she married on February 14, 1955 in Beckley, Raleigh County, WV; sons, Billie Joe Bragg (1938-2006) and Mack "Junior" Kincaid Jr. (1941-1965); daughter, Ella Mae Bragg-Thornquest (1932-2001); and by grandsons, Tony Bragg (Deceased) and Brian Meadows (Deceased).

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Nellie Maxine Kincaid-Smith (B. 1935) of Shady Spring, Charles Kincaid and his wife Vicki Kincaid of Irish Mountain, Jimmie Kincaid and his wife Joyce Kincaid of Irish Mountain, Mary Kincaid-Marema of Irish Mountain, Freddie Kincaid of Irish Mountain, Shelba Meadows-Petrey and her husband Eugene Petrey of Shady Spring, and Donald Meadows and his wife Loretta Meadows of Irish Mountain; her sister, Madeline Bragg-McElroy of Arkansas, thirty six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley, on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Kenneth Webb officiating. Burial will follow at the Kincaid and Meadows Cemetery at Irish Mountain.
