She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Walter V. "Bud" King; a son, Lewis A. Avey, Jr. and Ruby; a daughter, Marjorie and husband, Kenny DeHaven; four grandchildren,Lewis "Jack" A. Avey, III, Kenda "Punkie" DeHaven, Michael DeHaven and wife Rebecca, and Kayla Avey; six great grandchildren; four brothers, Albert, Bobby, and Earl Santymire, and Pat Talent; a sister, Lois Braswell; and a special cousin and care giver, Doris Brittain.
