Jeremy Ray Robinson
was born on November 21, 1989 in Blythe, California to Jerry Robinson and Carrie Stinson-Ellison. Jeremy loved his childhood; running around on 14th Avenue with close friends and family. He attended Ruth Brown Elementary school and loved to play basketball at the Rec Center with his brother Charlie and cousins.

Jeremy later moved to Indio, California with his father and joined the basketball team there. He was point guard and was very good for his size. Jeremy was known by his nickname ‘Booty’, given to him at birth by his mother and then later called ‘Boots’ by his father. At 11 years old, Jeremy was diagnosed with diabetes and struggled with this disease which made him see life differently. He loved music; R&B and Gospel being his favorite. He loved singing solo’s at Greater White Rose and loved performing in concerts in night clubs.

He was a family man. Jeremy’s love in life was his fiancé Lola Hunt and daughter Promise Hunt. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Carrie Stinson-Ellison of Bakersfield, California and Jerry Robinson of Blythe; his brothers, Jerry Robinson Jr., Tyson Stinson Sr., Charlie Robinson and Terrell Robinson; his only sister, Jerrece Parks and her husband Ricky Parks; his loving grandmother Florence Robinson of Mississippi and loving maternal grandparents, Kathe and AC Nicholson of Blythe, California; and also many Aunties, Uncles and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a great uncle to Baby Tyson Jr., Alicia, Tyanna, Jeremy, Mira, Tyler, Destiny, Celeste, DeShannon & Myriah; Jerry III, Chris, Kayla, Jerriann, Devin, Serenity, Alex, Alexis and Nathanial.

Jeremy was preceded in death by Charlie Robinson, Bergar Lee Davis and Willie James Davis.

His family takes comfort in knowing that Jeremy’s spark of fire that entered this life with many gifts from God is now reunited with the Lord and his family that has gone before him. He is home now and in a better place and will remain forever in our hearts and thoughts.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 13th at Greater White Rose COGIC at 212 S. 2nd Street in Blythe. Funeral service will start at 11:00 am and burial will follow the services at Palo Verde Cemetery.
