Roy E Voss,88, resident of St Mary's Home, Manitowoc died at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
He was born in the Town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, a son of the late Charles and Emma Heckmann Voss. In 1922 he married Laura Janing and she died August 24, 1945. He than married Hertha Ruge, of Sheboygan on June 1, 1952 and she died December 21, 1981.
Mr Voss farmed in Manitowoc County from 1918 to 1945. he than was a self-employed carpenter and sold Christmas Trees in Sheboygan for many years.
He is survived by a s son Eldon(Florence) Voss, two daughters, Mrs Arline(William) Jost, Mrs Angeline (Stanley) Rogala; firve step-sons Frederick Ruge, William Ruge, Theodore & Norbert Ruge, Eugene Ruge. 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great -great-granchildren; a brother Stanley(Lillian)Voss and a sister, Mrs Marcella(Hilbert) Freis. He was also preceded in death by a daughter LaVerne.
