Carrie Ann Begley Carroll, 51, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2004. She was the daughter of the late John Begley, Sr. and Joyce L. Begley. Surviving are her husband, Gary L. Carroll of Vinton; a daughter, Shirley Bishop and husband, Robert Bishop, Jr. of Vinton; a son, Dwayne Hogan and wife, Heather of Moneta; foster son, Christopher Bowes of Salem; two brothers including her special brother who helped care for her, John Begley, Jr. of Roanoke and Charles Begley, Sr. of Vinton; two sisters, Brenda Sue Campos of Reidsville, N.C. and Sandra Carter of Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Diane Weincyzk of Salem; four grandchildren who were her life, Zakary Hogan, Justin Hogan, Ryan Bishop and Kayla Bishop; a lifelong friend, Brenda Stanley of Roanoke; also her church family at Life Tabernacle of Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2004, at Life Tabernacle with the Rev. Tino Maciel officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
