Mrs. Annie Burns Immel was born December 23, 1883 in Cross County, the Brushy Creek Township. She was born to the late Benjamin and Louveary Jane Slocum Burns. She grew up and lived all her life in the Brushy Creek township in Cross County. She married Mr. James Irvan Immel August 26, 1906.
Mrs. Immel passed away January 14, 1963 at age 80. Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, 3 brothers Wesley C. Burns, 2 infant brothers, sisters Mary Elizabeth Burns, 3 grandchildren.
Survivors her are 2 daughters Stella Immel and Lola Immel Glass, 5 sons Fairest Immel, Marvin Immel, Marlin Immel, Noah Immel, and Famous Immel, 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, 1 sister Francis Virginia Burns, 4 brothers Guess T. Burns, Jefferson Burns, Alfred Alonzo Burns, and Noah William Burns.
