David Maurice Grace, 63, died from prostate cancer at his home in Prince Frederick, MD on Wednesday February 18, 2015.
David was born to Mark E. Grace and Mary Russick Grace of Lower Marlboro, MD on May 25, 1951.
David is survived by his beloved wife Janet E. Horton; son Jonathan D. Grace; sister Patricia Grace Dickerson, mother in law Jacqueline A. Horton; and brothers-in-law James "Jimmy" Dickerson, John E. Horton, Jr. (Helen), James E. Horton (Pamela), Jeffrey E. Horton (Ana), and Joseph E. Horton (Rachel); nieces, Kimberly, Jennifer, Bonnie, Aubrey, and nephew Patrick. He is also survived by niece Emily Grace and nephew Logan Grace.
David was a graduate of Berry Academy, Mt. Berry, GA and attended Berry College in Georgia. David was the owner and Broker of Preferred Homes, a real estate company in Prince Frederick and Brain Freeze Shaved Ice, a small snowball stand at the end of his driveway. David loved to make people laugh; and enjoyed selling snowballs on a hot summer afternoon. He was taken too soon and will be missed.
