"June Bug" graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria, as did her four children.
June is survived by her children, L. Ernest Mahan (Mary Ellen), Sue Bitcon (Scott), Kenneth E. Mahan and Carol Ann "Pat" Young; eight grandchildren, Troy, Dennis, Jill, Chris, Stephanie, Drew, Jamie and Stacie; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cy Mahan and Wally Mason; five brothers; and two sisters.
June was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Durango, CO, where she lived for 18 years.
