Marvin Blane Greene, 78, of Evington, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Avante of Lynchburg. He was the husband of Vivian Pribble Greene.
Born September 24, 1939 in Watauga County, NC, he was the son of the late Albert C. and Alice Icenhour Greene. Mr. Greene was a retired brick mason.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Greene is survived by a son, Mickey Lee Greene of Lawrenceville; a daughter, Michelle Glidewell and husband Chuck of Evington; three brothers, Lester Greene and wife Sandra and Randy Greene and wife Lisa, all of Lynchburg and Lloyd Greene of Rustburg; five sisters, Beulah Abbott of Evington, Rosa Hall and husband Roger and Linda Baldwin, both of Lynchburg, and Judy Millner and Freida Reynolds and husband Shawn, both of Rustburg and three grandchildren, Summer, Lindsey, and Brittany Greene.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at his residence.
