Harriett J. Hendricks, 89, of Catawissa, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center.
She was born January 22, 1928 in Bear Gap, a daughter of the late Allen and Jennie Loreman Miller.
She attended Ralpho Schools and worked at Bloomsburg Carpet. She is a member of the Christ United Lutheran Church of Catawissa and belonged to women of the church. Harriett is a life member of the Eastern Star of Bloomsburg. She loved to travel, crochet, read, color. Harriet enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Hendricks who passed away in 1995, brother Marlin Miller, two sisters Jean Artley and Nancy Stellfox.
Harriet is survived by a son Dale A. Hendricks and his wife Linda of Catawissa, two grandsons David A. Hendricks and his wife Mechelle of Lewisburg, and Daniel W. Hendricks and his wife Shelly of Bloomsburg, five great grandchildren; Amanda Staskiel and Kayla, Lauren, Ava and Cole Hendricks, and two great-great-grandchildren Annie and Eric Staskiel. She is also survived by her niece Peggy Artley who spent many hours together
Services will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa with Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. Burial will be at Stonington Cemetery.
