Son of James J. Vey, Sr. of North Quincy and the late Evelyn M. (Donnelly) Vey. Loving father of Melissa F. Vey of Taunton, Diane E. Vey and James J. Vey III both of Quincy. Brother of Kevin F. Vey and his wife Maureen of Quincy, Stephen J. Vey and his wife Deborah of Hanson and William J. Vey of Quincy. Grandfather of Chace, Arianna and Shane Vey all of Quincy. Uncle of Coreen, Vanessa, Kaitlin, Kristina and William Jr.
