On April 23rd 1947, Sherry Lynn Sweatman was born, and the world became a brighter, and more beautiful place. Throughout her life, everyone who was fortunate enough to spend any amount of time with her walked away a better person; for her natural charisma, combined with her extraordinary kindness & compassion towards friends & strangers alike were so unique, yet so sincere.
She was the absolute living personification of what a mother, and grandmother (Nana) should be, and she was simply unrivaled in her intrinsic maternal instincts. The unconditional love, and dedication she generously devoted to her children, and grandchildren were absolutely unwavering, and immeasurable.
On December 2nd 2017, she left the confines of this world, and now she illuminates the heavens with her presence. Although her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will always exist to serve as a beacon of light to guide us, and comfort us throughout our lives.
Sherry’s memory will live on with her husband -Marty Mitchell; her daughter -Delicia Jackson, (her husband, Jeff); her son -Daniel Hawkins, (his wife, Amanda); her granddaughters -Jordan, (her husband, Aaron), Josie, & Madelyn; her grandson -Connor; her brothers & sisters, and the many friends who loved her, and considered her a part of their family. We love You.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9:30AM until the funeral service at 10:30AM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
