Gary Leon Lambert, 65, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 6, 1952 in Arkansas City, Kansas to the late Lee Lambert and Evelyn Strange Lambert. Gary was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He served 23 years in the Air Force and loved serving his country. He liked football and going to the beach. He was of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fellowship Home, 470 Fellowship Home Lane, Valdosta, GA, 31602.
