Arno J. Spindler, age 93, of Ada, entered Eternal Life on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, where he resided for the last 15 years. He was born on October 29, 1924 to the late Walter and Louisa Spindler in the Town of Schleswig. Arno was a lifetime member of Bethel UCC Church and was a farmhand for the Spindler family farms. He had a fondness for chocolate and sweets. He could always be found with a smile and enjoyed visiting with family.

Arno is survived by his sister Roma Maueser; sister-in-law, Marilyn Spindler and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Arno was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Norman, Elmer, and Lester; 1 sister, Nelda Wehrmann; 3 sisters-in-law: Elsie, Harriett and Lucille, and 1 brother-in-law, Louis Wehrmann.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Bethel UCC Church, W4225 County Line Rd, Elkhart Lake, on Friday, December 8th, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. James Klein officiating. Arno will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center for their many years of care and friendship for Arno. Special thanks as well to Compassus Hospice.
