Ms. Bessie Mae Sharp Eckman, 72, of Flatwoods passed away Monday March 6, 2017 at Perry Community Hospital. She was born in Hohenwald to the late Willie Sharp and Beneva Inman Sharp. She was retired from Perry County Nursing Home where she worked in the Dietary Department and she had also worked in the cafeteria of Johnson Controls. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son Billy McKinley, a sister Willie Dean Sharp and brothers David and Delbert Sharp. Survivors include her sons Michael (Linette) McKinley and Donnie (Karley) Eckman both of Linden, grandchildren Abigail Carter, Jaden McKinley, Haley Eckman, Ethan McKinley, Kyndell Eckman and Alena McKinley, great-grandchildren Alayah, Levi and Kellie Carter, sisters Linda (Randall) Webster, Minnie Wilhelm and Frances Coleman, a brother Lonnie (Helen) Sharp all of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
