SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Joseph M. Horvath, 94, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Waterford at Edison Lakes in Mishawaka.

Joe was born August 25, 1923 in Los Angeles, California to Joseph and Theresa (Nyikos) Horvath. On May 10, 1947, Joe married Mary P. Horvath, she preceded him in death in 2010. Joe was also preceded in death by his step-father, Peter Czerna; and a step-sister, Violet Morehouse.

Survivors of Joe include his grandson, Andrew (Chasity) Fellman of South Bend; and a son, Michael Horvath.

A gathering for Joe will be held 10:00am to 11:00am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00am in the Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Highland Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 2122 W Taylor St # 104, Chicago, IL 60612.
