Tammy Nicole Crawford, 42, of Granger died Monday, December 4th in Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Tammy was born December 27, 1974 in Mishawaka to Sharon (Bolinger) and John Barrett and was a lifetime area resident. On March 29, 2003 in Granger she married Mark S. Crawford who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Megan C. Crawford (Andrew Mars) of New Carlisle; her son Bryce S. Crawford at home; her parents, Sharon Rowe of Greensboro, NC and John Barrett (Jhen) of The Phillipines; her sister, Amber Rowe of Charlotte, NC; and her brother, John Barrett of Greensboro; in laws¬, Walter and Glory Crawford, Adam and Michelle Crawford of Granger, Don and Angie Bishop of Mesa, AZ; Nephews and niece, AJ and Abigail Crawford, Wesley, Josh and Don Bishop.
Anyone that knew Tammy knew that she had an infectious smile. That smile was always evident at Bryce’s hockey games. The ice rink filled her heart. She could watch Bryce play, Mark coach and catch up with Megan, all at the same time. If she was not at the rink, she was probably planning a trip to Disney World. As long as she was with her family and friends, she was happy.

There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, make you smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better...that was Tammy.

Tammy’s family would like to thank all of the amazing staff on the 10th floor of Memorial hospital. They became friends of Tammy’s throughout this journey and she considered them family. Tammy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She enriched the lives of those she touched and we were all blessed to have known her.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 8th in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. with Mark Waltz of Granger Community Church officiating.
