Born in Laurens County, Marian was the daughter of the late John William and Lillian Hendricks Woods.
Marian retired as clerk of Probate Court. She enjoyed baking cakes, traveling, especially to the beach, and reading. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and the WMU and was an Acteens leader for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Candace B. McCraw and husband Alan; two sons, Anthony Burns and wife Marilyn and Andy Burns and wife Allison; four grandchildren, Allie Burns, Courtney Johnson (Devin), Connor McCraw (Dusti) and Logan McCraw; and one brother, John Woods, Jr.
