Fred Charles Hayes Sr., age 75, of Marshall, died Sunday, December 3, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial with military rites will be at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to family choice.

In addition to his wife, Ruby; he is survived by one son, Fred Charles Hayes Jr. and his fiancé, Dianna of Marshall; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; eight siblings: Carmella Jackson of Lansing, KS, Lois Laster and Brenda Laster, both of Marshall, Wilson Laster of Las Vegas, NV, Bernard Laster of St. Charles, Marvella Robinett and husband Les of Columbia, Marge Sledge of Kansas City, KS, and Darryl Hayes of Oakland, CA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mady I. Williams, one daughter, Zephra Marie Hayes; and six siblings: Logan, Ivan, Robert, Alder, Glenda, and Yvonne.
