Abrams River: We announce the death of Valerie Isidore (George) Warner, native of Wedgeport and student in Belleville, which occurred on Tuesday May 4th at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital at the age of 91. He was the son of the late Henry Warner and Elizabeth LeBlanc. He leaves to mourn, other than his wife, Estelle Marie LeBlanc; eight daughters, Virginia (Mrs. Elmer Doucette) and Lillian Semler of Abrams River, Loretta (Mrs. Gerald Pothier) and Marion (Mrs. William LeBlanc) of Wedgeport, Jeannette (Mrs. Arthur Doucette) of Pinkney's Point, Beatrice (Mrs. Victor Duncan) of Rockville, Ethel d'Entremont of Meteghan and Margaret (Mrs. Paul Dill) of Edmonton; ten sons, Raymond, Edward, Clarence, Donald, Melvin, Ernest, Stanley and David of Abrams River, James of Yarmouth and Abel of Toronto; as well as one brother Willie of Amirault's Hill; one sister, Mary (Mrs. Walter Dulong) of Belleville North; 56 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by one daughter, Constance. The mortal remains were shown at Huskilson's Funeral Home in Yarmouth. The funeral was held Thursday May 6th at 10:30 a.m. with funeral service at Église Ste-Anne Church in Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau. Father Emery Brien officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
