Ethel Mae Green, 96, Kansas City, Kansas passed away December 2, 2017. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. A visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 PM, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Pet Project or Kansas City Royals Charities.
Ethel was preceded in passing by her parents, William and Nora Jolly; husband, Richard; grandson, Forest Green, II; three sisters, Louise, Wilma and Dorothy; and son-in-law, James Rightmire.
Survivors include her children, Betty Dickerson, Dorothy Rightmire, Sharon (Victor) Turner, Linda Green, Forest (Sharon) Green, Nora (Dwayne) Herdman, Joyce (Essie) Ghaisarnia; two sisters, Betty Cradit and Shirley Long; 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, three great-great-great grandchildren on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Bunny Dickerson; and beloved pet, Lucy Mae.
