Rev. Harding died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the Buna Medical Center. He was a native of Waco, and had lived in Silsbee for 25 years.
He was the former pastor of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, the South Mill Creek Baptist Church, the First Baptist Church of Evadale, the Enon Baptist Church in Chester and the Sunny Acres Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Harding of Silsbee; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Brown of Silsbee and Sgt. Doris Harding of Baton Rouge, La.; one son, Bobby Harding of Buna; his mother, Mrs. Mary Harding of Waco; three brothers, Carl and Leonard Harding of Waco, and Marshall Harding of Springdale, Ark.
