Joanne Harris Evans, 53, a resident of 81 Taylor Farm, died Monday, June 12 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of Marie Jones Harris of Henderson and the late John Thomas Harris.
She is survived by three children, two sisters, two brothers and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 P.M. at Nutbush Baptist Church by Rev. Terrell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will began at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 16 at Wright Funeral Home and a visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
