Peggy Jean Knight was born August 12, 1931 in Clinton, Missouri to William Jarvis and Myrtle (Cornell) Gutridge. She passed away December 3, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri.

She attended school 12 years of school in Montrose. After graduating high school Peggy enrolled in business school in Kansas City, Missouri. On Aril 20, 1952 she was united in marriage to Myron (Sparky) Knight and to this union 2 children were born, Jerry and Myra

Peggy worked for Hallmark in Kansas City while her husband was serving his country in Korea. Peggy and Sparky worked together at their business in Rockville and later rural Osceola for over 25 years selling and repairing all kinds of tires.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Gutridge and her husband, Myron “Sparky” Knight.

Peggy is survived by her son, Jerry Wade Knight and wife Tammy of Deepwater, Missouri; daughter, Myra Jean Burrow and husband Steve of Osceola, Missouri; grandchildren, Tyler Knight and wife Heather of Lowry City, Missouri, Ashley Arnburg and husband Tom of Lowry City, Missouri, Carrie Ammann of Osceola, Missouri and Chelsie Ammann and fiancé Joseph Stoops of Clinton, Missouri; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law, Stanley Knight and wife Martha, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
