Michael A. Edge, 65, of Platteville, died on Friday, December 1, 2017 at University of Madison Hospitals and Clinics. A visitation was held from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, with a brief service at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville.

Mike was born on July 17, 1952 in Platteville, Wisconsin, the son of LaVern and Phyllis (Williams) Edge. Mike graduated from Platteville High School in 1970. He lived his entire life on Willow Branch Road where he farmed with his parents until his fathers death in 2000. Mike loved hunting and fishing, one of his favorite memories was bear hunting with his dad. Mike loved life and loved to have a good time, he lived life to its fullest.

Mike is survived by two children, Amy and Brian; sister, Laurie; and caretakers, Ray and Suzi. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Julie.
