Louise Avilla King, 97, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at Signature Health Care in Bluffton, IN. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 10:43 AM. She was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1920, in Blackford Co., IN. She married William King on Saturday, March 31, 1944 in Montpelier. Louise graduated from Montpelier High School. She had worked at Franklin Electric for 38 years. She was a member of the Millard-Brown American Legion Auxiliary, and the Montpelier Firemans ladies Auxiliary. Louise attended the First Baptist Church in Montpelier.



Survivors Include her Husband - William Edward King, Montpelier, IN., Son - Terry E. (Wife, Amber) King, Montpelier, IN., Grandson - Michael King, Liberty Center, IN., Grandson - Bryan King, Montpelier, IN., Granddaughter - Stephanie Cain, Indianapolis, IN., Sister- Margaret "Margie" Sills, Poneto, IN., 7 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces & Nephews.



She was preceded in death by her Father - Delmar Schwartzkopf, Mother - Barbara (Schneider) Schwartzkopf, Son - Billy Joe King and Brothers - Clifford Schwartzkopf & Sam Schwartzkopf.



Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier, IN. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.



A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2017 with Pastor Tom Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Montpelier.
