Erik Marshall Davis, 32, of Portland, passed away from cancer on November 15, 2017. He was born in Chandler, Arizona to Marshall Davis and Barbara Leone. He was raised with his brother, Brett, in Minnesota and graduated from Southwest High School in Minneapolis. He put himself through college, making the Dean's list, and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Art Institute of Portland. "Quietly determined," "creative writer," and "artist," are just a few of the words used to describe Erik and the life he lived. Toward the end, he was cared for with great kindness at Hopewell House hospice, then was able to spend his last days at his mother's house, surrounded by his family. Erik is survived by his parents, Marshall (Maureen) and Barbara (John); and brother, Brett.
