AGE 96 YEARS
Clara W. Murray, of Cardinal Drive, Hughesville, formerly of Turbotville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at her home.
Born in Anthony Township, Montour County, on Aug. 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Beatrice L. (DeWald) Webb. She married Willis S. Murray and they have celebrated 54 years of marriage until his passing on May 31, 1996.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, formerly St. James Lutheran Church. Clara enjoyed word puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was a great cook and pie baker.
Surviving are her daughter, Polly Hess, of Hughesville; two granddaughters, Lisa Evans, of Pottstown and Cynthia and her husband Leo Agogino, of New Jersey; three great-granddaughters, one great-great-granddaughter, two brothers, Harold Webb, of Watsontown and Robert Webb, of Muncy; and one sister, Helen Miller, of Hughesville.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Kenny, Percy, Dennis and Bill Webb; and two sisters, Dorothy Weaver and Lois Webb.
Burial: Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
