With heavy hearts grieving, Marsha Mary Wright, 69, a longtime resident of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Nov. 23, 2017, after a short stay at Providence Hospital.

Marsha was born on Feb. 28, 1948, to parents John and Geraldine Evans from Denver, Colo.

In 1972, in her early 20s, Marsha made her move to Anchorage, where she worked and retired from not only Atlantic Richfield company as a tax accountant, but also continued on to work and retire as a tax auditor at the North Slope Borough.

Marsha enjoyed traveling, fine dining and all the amenities that her life in Alaska held.

She was a vibrant people person and had a smile that could light up even the darkest room.

She is survived by her twin sons, Russell and Randall Wright, both of Anchorage; her granddaughter, Ashley Wright of Arizona; and her closest friend, Sherre Jones also from Anchorage.

She will always be always on our minds and forever in our hearts.

Kehl's Legacy Funeral Home in Anchorage has been entrusted with the final arrangements.

A memorial service is scheduled in the near future.

All family and friends, who wish to attend, should contact her sons for the details.
