Paul Richard Gregory, 80, of Augusta, West Virginia, died Friday, December 1, 2017 in Clary Grove, Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Mr. Gregory was born October 21, 1937 in Shinnston, West Virginia, son of the late, Henry Sly Gregory and Vercha Starkey Gregory He was a coal miner and later he worked as a commercial truck driver. He served in the U. S. Military.
He married Mollie Ann Gregory on July 22, 1975 in York, South Carolina. Mrs. Gregory died April 2, 2015.
Surviving are sons, Paul R. Gregory, Jr. of Gore, VA and Ricky Gregory of Winchester, VA; sister, Delores Altizer of South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
His brothers, Jackson, Max and Roy, and sisters, Mary Louise, Frances, Loretta and Barbara, all preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Stephens City, VA. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
Military honors will be provided by Clarke County Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gregory, Ricky Gregory, O. J. Jenkins, Tim Womble, Jimmy Vaughan, and Joe Winfield.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
