George VanBuren Allison, age 66, of Sevierville, passed away Friday December 1, 2017.

George was a manager at Camping in the Smokies in Gatlinburg, TN and Mill Creek Resort in Pigeon Forge, TN. He also worked at Rivers Landing in Pigeon Forge until his health problems began.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Lou Carpenter Allison, son, Wesley Allison, brothers, Tommy, Rodney, Paul, and Kenneth Allison.

Survivors:Wife: Frankie Roper Allison, Son: Frank Aaron Allison, Sisters: Judy Pressgrove and Margie Murphee. Special friends and pallbearers: James Hale, Jome Ellison, Chris Smith, Eric Baker, Jed Reagan, and Wade Tobin.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to benefit the family.

Family and friends will meet 2 PM Wednesday in East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for graveside service and interment. Chaplain Scott Payne officiating. Military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
