Graveside services for Patricia Jean McKee, 84, of Sherman, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating, under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Ms. McKee passed away December 1, 2017 in Gainesville.

Pat was born August 1, 1933 in Gainesville to Walter Ervin and Ruby Hazel (McKinley) McKee. She attended Gainesville schools and earned a nursing degree from Grayson County College. Ms. McKee resided in Sherman for most of her life and was passionate about her career as a nurse.

Ms. McKee will be remembered by those that knew her for her adventurous and mischievous nature that would always put a smile on your face. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, fishing, and camping in her time of leisure.

Survivors include: sister Carma Boaz of Gainesville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ms. McKee was preceded in death by: her parents; brother Carroll McKee; sister Billie Majors; and sister LaTeka Haas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke and Grayson Counties or a charity of one’s choosing.
