Rev. Lee Phillips, age 81 of Caryville passed away on Friday December 1, 2017. He was a member of Clear Branch Baptist of LaFollette and was a ordained pastor since 1972. Rev. Phillips was a carpenter, he enjoyed fishing and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Preceded in death by parents Alfred Phillips and Gladys Phillips VanCamp, brother James Phillips.

Survived by loving wife of 61 years Lillie Phillips of Caryville; daughter Judy Adkins and husband Avery of Caryville; brother Tommy Phillips of Caryville; sisters Wanda Gobel of Caryville, Betty Kash of LaFollette, and Barbara Evertts of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren Nancy Braden and Andrea Hamblin; great grandchildren Lauren Braden, Michael Hamblin, Tristen Carroll, Abagel Carroll and Morgan Brown; great great grandchildren Joshua and Jalen Braden; other relatives and friends.

Family will have a private service. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 pm on Monday December 4, 2017 at Harmon cemetery in Lake City, TN for graveside service and interment with Rev. Tommy Rogers officiating.
