Ross Stuart Miller, age 68, passed away on November 28, 2017 at his ranch in Jordan.

Ross was born on December 6, 1949 in Miles City to Elliot and Ella (Danklefsen) Miller. Ross grew up at the family ranch in Angela, MT and attended North Sunday School.
He attended CCDHS for 2 years, and then moved back to the ranch.

In 1966, Ross met the love of his life, Gay Billing, playing music for a 4H dance at the Meredith Hall.
They were married on March 25, 1967.
To this union, two children were born, Rodney in 1969 and Rena in 1972.
Ross and Gay were married for 50 years.

In 1969, Ross was enlisted in the National Guard, where he served stateside for 6 years.

Ross and his family remained at the Angela Ranch until 1985.
Then in 1988, they moved to the Yellowstone Valley on a small ranch, where his son and daughter still live.
In 2011, Ross and Gay moved to Gay's family ranch on the Van Norman Road in Jordan. Ross remained there until the time of his death.

Ross took great interest helping 4H and FFA kids with livestock projects. Ross was always a great supporter of youth, especially his grandchildren.
Ross was a member of the Miles City FFA Alumni and Montana Pork Producers. He was awarded the FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer Degree. He also won several awards from MSU hog carcass evaluations.

Ross is survived by his wife, Gay, a son Rodney (Crystal) Miller, a daughter, Rena (Mike) Todoroff and four very special grandchildren, Kailey and Garren Todoroff and Talen and Ridge Miller.

He is also survived by two brothers Gale Miller and Verlin (Bernadette) Miller and many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elliot and Ella Miller, one sister Raella Allen, an infant brother, Boyd and an infant son.

Memorials may be sent to Garfield County Ambulance Service or the charity of one's choice.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
