Paula Kay Walker, 72, passed away Thursday November 30, 2017 in Denton, TX.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie with Larry Adkisson officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Paula was born on July 8, 1945 in Amarillo to Paul and Pauline (Dotson) Henderson. She graduated from Bowie High School in 1963. She graduated from nursing school in Abilene and went on to work as a LVN for 38 years. Paula was a caregiver for children at Hendrick’s Home for Children. She was a pianist and organist for many churches and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, infant sons Terry and Jerry King, and brother-in-law Clifford Stephens.
Paula s survived by her daughters Leisa King and Cindy Williams of Colorado and Tammy Phillips and husband John of Justin, granddaughters Brittanie, Ariel, and Jazsmain Wellborn of Justin, great-grandson Zane Philllips, sisters Barbara Roberts and husband Don of Jacksonville, FL, Becky Stephens of Waco, and Kim Breeden and husband Dale of Bowie, brother Ronny Henderson and wife Kristal of Bowie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials made be made in honor of Paula to the Central Baptist Church of Bowie or a charity of your choice.
