Charlotte is the daughter of T.C. and Artha Belle (Fraley) Hamilton

She graduated from Anadarko High School in Oklahoma in 1936 and business college in 1938.
Charlotte married Troy C. Vaught on August 17-1940 at the Methodist parsonage in Dodge City, Kansas.
Following World War II, Troy's jobs transferred them to numerous locations in Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado.
In 1962 they bought the Swans Ladies Store in Wayne, NE. and co-owned and managed the store until shortly before Troy's passing in 1983.
In 2016, Charlotte moved to Laurel, NE. She was a gifted seamstress, an astute business person and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Most of all she loved the Lord and content in the knowledge she would someday join him.
