Todd Robert Miller of Gilbert, Arizona passed away unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on November 22, 2017. He was 56 years of age and lived full of life, with a contagious laugh and loving demeanor. Born and raised in Burlington, Iowa, he graduated from Burlington High School in 1979. He married his sweetheart Carole Broeg in 1982. Shortly thereafter they moved to Arizona where they raised their two children; Tyler and Katelin. Todd had a genuine heart, fun-loving spirit and charismatic personality that could fill any room. In 2007 Todd, Carole and his sister, Kathryn (Miller) Grimco started a successful family owned and operated financial services company, First Guaranty Financial. In 2017 Todd's hard work and entrepreneurial spirit helped him obtain his Investment Advisor Representative license, and he then opened a RIA firm, Forethought Investment Group. Todd is survived by his wife, Carole (Broeg) Miller and their two children Tyler and Katelin Miller of Gilbert (we can all hear Todd say, "Where are the grandkids?"); father, Rodger Miller and his wife Annie of Prescott; mother, Frankie Miller of Scottsdale; his brother, Denny Miller of Las Vegas and sister, Kathryn (Miller) Grimco and her husband, Craig Grimco of Scottsdale. Todd is also survived by a large extended family including 26 nieces and nephews, all who loved him dearly. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Redemption Church- Gilbert. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Todd's honor to: Children's Heart Foundation 620 Margate Drive Lincolnshire, IL 60069 Mark: Donation in Honor of Todd Miller.
