Jennings: The family and friends of Conny Del Babb are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on November 12, 2017 at the age of 71. Conny was born in Jennings, LA to Wallace Babb and Eula Simar Babb on December 15, 1945. Conny served our country honorably in the Airforce. He loved being outdoors, especially when he was shrimping, or fishing. Conny also loved traveling. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Conny was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Conny is survived by his beloved wife, Priscilla Babb of Vinton, LA; his son, Tony Del Babb (Tristen) of Mauriceville, TX; his sister, Bonnie Deshotel of Evangeline, LA; his six grandchildren, Cassandra, Brandon, Lane, Rebecca, Lorelei, and Bethany.
Conny was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Eula Simar Babb.
Funeral Services for Conny Del Babb will be held at the Pinehurst United Pentecostal Church in Orange, TX on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 7:00 PM with Reverend W. W. Smith officiating. A visitation will be held beginning at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Pinehurst united Pentecostal Church with the service to follow. A second visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Wednesday, November 15th beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the service to follow at 1:00 PM with Reverend W. W. Smith officiating and burial will follow in the Bluff Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews & Son Funeral Home.
