Karen Lee Kraft was born November 9, 1958 to John and Loretta (Hilderman) Kraft. Raised in Laurel, she attended Laurel Public Schools, graduating in 1977. In 1979 she joined the U.S. Army, serving until her Honorable Discharge in 1982. Returning to Laurel, she began a 31-year career with Mountain Bell until her retirement.
Karens life revolved around family; she was devoted to her parents and was especially close to her niece and nephews. Additionally, she was very active in the Park City American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Karen passed away November 15, 2017 in her home following a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John, and nephew David John.
She is survived by her brother David Kraft and his wife Jennifer of Laurel, nephews Dylan Kraft of Laurel and Mario Riojas of Billings, niece Kristi Kraft of Billings, and sister-in-law Donna Kraft of Livingston. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
