Rachel V. Sims, 85, of Zanesville died at 1:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab Center. She was born February 3, 1920 at Zanesville a daughter of the late James and Martha Fisher McCloud. She was a member of Wildwood Church of Christ and was a cook for over 20 years at Adornetto's Restaurant. Surviving are three daughters, Vickie(Al)Gameos of Pittsburgh, PA., Wanda(David)Loser of Losantville, Indiana and Roberta(David)Echelberry of Chandlersville, two sons, David(Dee)Sims of Chandlersville and Larry(Tammy)Sims of Springboro, a daughter-in-law, Cindy Sims of Zanesville, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a brother, James(Shirley)McCloud of Cleveland. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Sims who died in 1989, a son, Gene Sims , two sisters, Ruth Myers and Mary Dillinger and two brothers, Robert and Charles McCloud.
