Arlington, Texas - Gloria Lee Cox left her earthly home on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at First Christian Church, Arlington, 910 South Collins in Arlington. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, Gloria had requested that donations be made to the First Christian Church memorial fund. Gloria was born in Madison, Fla., on April 28, 1930, but had lived in Arlington, Texas, for 64 years. She was a librarian at the Dallas Public Library and Arlington public schools. Her sisters and parents preceded her in death. SURVIVORS: Gloria is survived by Claude Cox, her husband of 61 years; and daughters, Gloria Fahrenthold and Barbara Cox; plus her beloved granddaughter, Katherine Fahrenthold, along with her son-in-law, Jon Fahrenthold. Gloria also has nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
