Johnnie William Hill, 65, of Jacksonville, FL passed away November 29, 2017. He was born on March 14, 1952 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Robert Milton and Frankie Marie (Combs) Hill.

Johnnie was a lifelong resident of the area who enjoyed prayer, gospel music, reading his bible and witnessing to all those the Lord put in his path. He also enjoyed time with family and watching the Florida Gators play football.

Johnnie is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Bonnie Hill; former wife, Suzanne Howes; daughter, Donna Garland; step-sons, Robert and Chris Padgett; brother, David Hill; sister, Donna Sauter; grandchildren, Kala Sanders, Nathan, Kara, Kari, John, Karissa, Hunter and Kyra Garland and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Sanders, Nathaniel Garland, Athena and Zachariah Sanders.

The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
