Marvin H. Cook, 67, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Llano Cemetery. Military Honors provided by Volleys for Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.

Marvin was born on March 25, 1950 in Ballinger, Texas to John and Lillie Cook. He was a veteran of the United States Army and 101st Airborne division. Marvin was a retired police officer having served in Ballinger and at Amarillo College. He loved riding his motorcycle and drinking coffee with his friends at the Waffle House and Western Bowl.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John H. Cook Jr.; and one sister, Jackie Hurt.

Marvin is survived by two sons, William Cook and wife Jesseca of Amarillo and Jacob Cook of Austin; one sister, Elizabeth Ryan of Winters; one brother, Robert Cook of Winters; and two grandchildren, Lucas and Jobe Cook, both of Amarillo.
