Bruce proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On June 14, 1969, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Union Grove, he was united in marriage to Carol A. Bretl. He was employed at Jacobsen Manufacturing for thirty-two years. Bruce was a lifetime and dedicated member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. His pastimes included fishing, golfing, and playing pool. More than anything he cherished time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
