A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Stephanie Regina Perry-Walker “Short-Stuff” of Springhill, who passed away unexpectedly on November 25th, will be held this Saturday December 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street Tampa, FL 33610, Pastor S. Evan Burrows; Pastor Darrick Fullwood, eulogist. Stephanie Perry-Walker was born March 3, 1969, in Tampa, FL to the late Willie James Perry and Mary Louise Henry Perry. She was affiliated with Tabernacle of Praise Church in Atlanta, Ga. Stephanie was a 1987 graduate of King Senior High School. Mrs. Perry-Walker was also an outgoing social butterfly and enjoyed cheerleading, dancing, coaching, traveling, and spoiling her beautiful granddaughters. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and a dear friend to all. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Michael Walker; daughter, Ashley Tiana Shorter (Devon); grandchildren, Ge’Niya Christina Louise Logan and Devon Elissa Shorter; special guardians, Gloria Jean Newton and Julius Newton (Katrina); brothers, Willie James Perry (Pat), Ruben Perry, Sr., Dolphus Lee Perry, Elwynn Perry (Stephanie) and Kenny Perry (Andrea); sisters, Barbara Simpkins, Jackie Bacon (Percy), Susan Anglin (Will), Janice McCullough and Sharon Everett (Nathaniel Yancy); aunts, Shirley Valdez and Yvonne Calhoun; nieces, Benita Perry, Renita Perry, Keisha Roberts, Tameka Roberts, Katrina Bailey, Lashawn McCullough, Tashina Perry, Marshanna Keys (Corey), Shaniya Roberts and Colinthia R. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday December 1st from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
