SWEET, GLADYS M., 98, of Warren, passed away Sunday, May 1st. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Sweet, Sr. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late George and Mary J. (Costigan) Tripp. Gladys leaves her children, Albert Sweet (Robin), William Mellor (Jean), Thomas Mellor (Tricia), Brian Mellor (Cissy), Joan Bruno (Fred) and Barbara Trantham (James). She was grandmother to 16, great grandmother of 15 and great great grandmother of three. She leaves a sister Esther Robin and was preceded in death by her siblings Caroline, Mildred, Ruth, Madeline and Rita, and Clinton. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd, Warren where family will receive friends Thursday, 9-10:30am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren.
