Melvin D. Sr. (Mickey) Campbell, age 69, of Shakopee. Member of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux community where he serviced as a Vice Chairman on the Tribal Council. 1951 graduate of Red Wing High School. Retired fleet driver for the Star Tribune and member of the Teamsters Union. Survived by wife, Pat; daughters, Carrie (Don) Pearson of New Prague, Anita (Mike) Wentland of Shakopee; stepdaughters, Jan (Norm) Fox-Krause of Jordan, Jan (Martin) Lawrence Soulier of Prior Lake; sons, Scott Campbell, Melvin Campbell, Jr., Alan Campbell, all of Shakopee; stepsons, Chris (Judy) Fox of Prior Lake, Brad (Pam) Fox of Glenwood City, WI; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; mother, Hazel Wells of Red Wing; brothers, Vine (Rita) of Red Wing, Robert; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Preceded in death by sisters, Elaine and Fern; brother, Gordy and stepson, Pete Fox. Memorial services Wednesday, 3 pm at the Prairie Island Community Center, Prairie Island. Interment church cemetery.
