Predeceased by her husband Martin (1989), her parents Fernando and Mary Jane Waechter, sibling Edward (in infancy), Elaine (George) Van de Water, William (Virginia) Waechter, and her nephew Tony Waechter.
Helen was a long time employee at Mutual Life. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. on Monday, February 5 from 10 – 11 am with a service at 11:00 am.
Burial at Woodland Cemetery with a reception to follow back at the funeral home.
